It's maddening. Customer support won't acknowledge that this is horrible coding. If the shared folder is read only (which it is). The collaborating user should be prompted that the folder is read only, not let them think they are saving it when they are actually creating a duplicate.
Moreover, when the sharer deletes this shared folder it does not delete the folder in the drop down list of the person that it was share with. As a result some users have several versions of a folder with the exact same name!
No other folder sharing system anywhere functions like this.
FIX IT
