Editing a campaign task date after adding a client to the campaign

I ran into an issue that I've been told by the help Chat line is a feature.  But as a user it seems more like a bug.  I set up the basics of a drip campaign, and added the clients I wanted it sent to.  Then I came back to the campaign and edited the date I wanted the task done on.  I had planned to go in and finish the email being sent in the campaign because I hadn't finished everything I needed to do in time.  But the incomplete email went out this morning despite the date change I made to the task.  I was informed I would have had to remove all 100 clients from the campaign, make the change and then add them again.  It was cumbersome adding them in the first place.  It sounds like there is an issue with the table structure in your database if you can't push the changed date to the client for the run.  But besides that.  At a bare minimum, there should be a warning box that comes up telling a user that if they have edited a task in an exiting campaign that has clients assigned to it, then need to delete the clients from the campaign and re-add them.  I had no idea that email was going to go out.  It was not obvious or user friendly to have that happen.  Thanks,  Jenn Flynn

I am currently testing Liondesk and have run into the same issue of edited task dates in a drip campaign not updating the task records of the same campaign already attached to contacts.  Fortunately, I am still testing with one client and not 100 clients as was the case with Jenn in the earlier post.  It's disappointing that 7 months after this issue was initially reported, there hasn't been an improvement to the software as this a serious efficiency issue.

As unacquainted as Top Producer is, not desirable, but they had a great way to set up a drip campaign of tasks with manually editing and date setup.

If I could just get a few features from that system melded into this one. LionDesk would be an ultiminate CRM contender.
